Melandre was founded in 1985 by Robert Magnotti, an
astounding barber and entrepreneur. The name
“Melandre” originated from the names of Robert’s two
daughters Melissa and Adreanna. Over the years, with a
prominent staff, a dedication to creativity and excellent
team work, Robert and the Melandre team prospered,
grew, and maintained a leadership role in the salon
In February of 2006, after six years of management of
Melandre, Miriam Gabriel purchased Melandre Salon.
A graduate of William Paterson University, Miriam has
an entrepreneurial spirit and attitude. Miriam's commitment
is to continue Melandre's growth through superior service,
high standard staff and creative excellence.
At Melandre we are committed to professional education, keeping on the “cutting edge” of technology. Our staff is internally and nationally trained on a continuing basis by the foremost educators in the beauty industry. Raymond Serio, Color Director of Melandre, and member of the staff, also trains and educates other professionals throughout the country. Morgan Kopecky, Design Director, lends her skills and artistry to keep the staff fresh and motivated to create new haircuts and share ideas while maintaining inpiduality. Our Education Coordinator constantly keeps abreast of all the available seminars and advanced educational events. Our training is done in-salon and nationally assuring classic and current trends to our clients.

A 24 hour window applies for all appointment changes or cancellations. For same day cancellations, or no-shows, the salon may bill you for half (50%) of the scheduled service. We appreciate your understanding.
Melandre considers children to be 12 years of age or younger. For your child’s
safety and your peace of mind, we request children do not accompany you to
your salon visit.
All salon and spa appointments can be scheduled online, by phone or in person at the front desk. We recommend you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving Melandre to guarantee the time and day that best suits your schedule. Please help us to provide our clients with a no-wait experience by being on time to your appointment. We suggest that you arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare your appointment.
